our first night in berlin, after we slept all day, we went to a lecture on how climate change will affect the city of lagos in nigeria. it was pretty interesting to see the difference between this sort of event in the us and in germany. turns out the people were staying at are into activism and the sort, the girl does some support work with greenpeace, so it was nice to have a little in common with our hosts as opposed to karl’s cousins who may have been the polar opposite of me, hah.
